The Farm2u Collaborative™, a non-profit organization, focus is on Culinary, Cultural and Agritourism as it pertains to economic development in communities particularly in Appalachia. We began with wvfarm2u.org which helps farms across West Virginia direct market themselves to consumers, restaurants and specialty food producers. To promote Appalachian culinary traditions the Cast Iron Cook-Off® held at the Greenbrier showcases West Virginia’s extraordinary culinary talents and promotes local, healthy eating. Today, we have several tools and programs designed to enable communities to promote their culinary, cultural and agritourism endeavors.
From the upcoming iPhone App, Our Town which allows groups to create scrapbooks of their area with revenue sharing to community cook-offs to preserve food traditions, the Farm2u Collaborative has a program that can benefit your community.
